It's time for a new post, no?
The only reason I haven't posted in awhile is because I don't know what to post about. But, let me tell you whats going on, kay?
::1st Thing's First::
Joy has been rooted into my heart. I'm finally free! My house is empty, only me and momma. It is quiet and peaceful. I am, let say, rapturous? Possibly ecstatic? or maybe even effervescent. Shall we go with all of the above? Yes, I think we shall. Although it has only been 3 1/2 days, my heart has began to heal from the turmoil that was those 7 month.
We should party, to celebrate this occasion, don't you think? I think so too. But, when I said my house was empty, I meant empty. We let the borrow our dining room table, so dining room is empty. All the stuff that was in the kid's room, is gone, so it as well is empty, and we thew out the couch because it was broken, so we have a total of two chair in the living room, mi casa is empty.
::Pray for my nerves. Please?"
This Sunday, the one and only Tami Poland has requested that I begin teaching a.k.a becoming a "small group leader". WHHUUUUAAT? I know, I know, it's crazy. The idea of me, Joe Roy, leading a class room full of elementary kids and making them follow rules, and do activities, it is scary! I'm teaching, not assisting the one who is teaching, but actually teaching. I will most likely get my own assistant. Well, at least I hope so, I better! I can't be doing all of it on my own, I'm not superman.
But, I looked over the lesson plan this week, and even got a binder to put it all in, and I am getting excited. I'm nervous like mess, so keep me in your prayers about this, okay? Please! But, I am ridiculously excited, let just hope Tami Poland doesn't forget or change her mind, that would totally bum me out.

- Winter Jam - MercyMe, Skillet, Barlow Girl, Mandisa, Newsboys, Group 1 Crew. uh-heck-yuh!
- Prom - Haven't bought anything yet. I should get on that right?
- Leadership Retreat - Soon, Soon, Soon! Joy, Joy, Joy!
- CFAW - Not as Soon, but more Joy! more Joy! more Joy!

I'm finally really happy again. It's about time, I know.

yeah, that pretty much sums it up in a sentence. hahaha.
about your post - you'll do great with the kids. Though I know I had to lead the 1st(or second, not sure, lol) graders one week because they needed someone to fill in so I didn't even go over the lesson plan or anything and I was freaking out. But the lessons are pretty neat, you just have to be able to keep all the kids in order (you probably already know because you probably went in and looked at them, lol) - which I think having the 4 year olds helped you with that. haha.
And is the west kids planning on going to Firebirds? Because I think we have some extra reservations but I'm not quite sure so yall should make those reservations if you want! Cause I want yall to come! hahaha.

Okay... lets see, one of THE most fun teenagers at C3 with great hair, leading children?!?!? Scary?? Not quite, more like- sooo perfect! How great are those kids going to feel having YOU as thier leader, as thier mentor. But my one bit of advice, dont get down or worry if those kids dont do all you say with love, all you can do is love them like your siblings no matter what and be solid in thier life. So many children loose the only thing stable they have in thier life and that is thier home life. So, you go! Be passionate for what position you are called, because it is Tami that has given you the oppurtunity but God has given you the calling! We (Cory too) are so proud of you!!!
